Job Description

Position: Technical Writer

Duration: 2 Months (extendable)

Eligibility: Only Citizens and Green Card holders can apply

The role involves assisting with the development of a storm plan that needs to be submitted annually. The current plan is being reformatted and updated. The candidate will work off standard templates that have already been created, updating 8 or 9 sections of the storm plan. Responsibilities include re-writing sections, interviewing stakeholders to obtain exact steps, creating check sheets, and collaborating with leads for each area.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience
• Background in Process Improvement or Process Documentation
• Experience with Utility or Emergency Preparedness is a bonus

Potential extension until the end of January 2016. The process includes initial phone screening followed by face-to-face interviews.
