Zachery Piper Solutions is seeking a Technical Writer to support a high-visibility U.S. Coast Guard prototype initiative.

This fully remote role serves both federal and commercial clients, and ensures all project deliverables meet USCG documentation requirements. The successful candidate will translate complex technical inputs into clear, structured manuals, SOPs, system documentation, and knowledge-base articles for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5-8 years of experience in technical writing within a technical, engineering, or federal environment.
• Proven experience developing and editing user manuals, SOPs, system documentation, proposals/RFP responses, and knowledge-base articles.
• Strong ability to translate technical concepts into clear, structured, and accessible documentation.
• Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Active Secret Clearance.

You will have the opportunity to join a rapidly growing, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business supporting both federal and commercial clients in a fully remote role. The Technical Writer will play a key role in ensuring all project deliverables are accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and meet USCG documentation requirements.

This position requires an Active Secret Clearance to be considered for the role

Compensation for the Technical Writer includes:

• Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000
