Job summary

FiberLight LLC seeks a Technical Consultant to act as the primary technical liaison between Sales, Solutions Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Provisioning, and Service Delivery. You will validate orders for technical integrity and ensure seamless handoff from sales to implementation.

You will review all Closed Won opportunities for conformity to FiberLight products, engineering standards, and operational requirements, proactively resolving discrepancies and risks before schedules and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
8+ years of telecommunications engineering, network design, service delivery, or solutions architecture experience.
Experience reviewing technical network designs and engineering documentation.
Strong understanding of metro/long-haul fiber, DWDM, Ethernet, IP networking, fiber construction, carrier access.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical bridge between Sales and Service Delivery after contract execution.
Perform comprehensive technical validation of all assigned Closed Won opportunities before engineering release.
Ensure customer solutions align with FiberLight products, service offerings, and engineering standards.
Review Bills of Material (BOM) to ensure required equipment and materials support the solution.
Identify and resolve design discrepancies, engineering conflicts, and implementation risks before they impact schedules.
Collaborate with Engineering to resolve technical conflicts before implementation.
