We are seeking a Technical Training Program Manager to work out of our West Allis, WI office. The Technical Training Program Manager will lead technical training programs for Toshiba American Energy Systems. This includes new Steam Turbine Generator (STG) projects from contract award through plant startup and new hire, as well as ongoing, training activities. This role plans, develops, coordinates, and executes training programs that meet contractual requirements, project schedules, customer and company needs. This position will develop and deliver training on plant operations, maintenance, and control systems while coordinating with project teams, technical experts, and customers. This individual will manage training schedules, materials, and deliverables to ensure customer and project requirements are met, while supporting the continuous improvement of Toshiba's training programs and resources.
The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell.
Work is performed in office, classroom, virtual, manufacturing, laboratory, customer, supplier, and field environments as required. Requires frequent use of computers, learning technologies, presentation equipment, and standard office equipment. Requires regular sitting, standing, walking, presenting, and communicating with employees, customers, suppliers, and business partners. May be exposed to manufacturing facilities, power generation sites, construction areas, or field environments with moving equipment, elevated noise levels, temperature variations, and other industrial hazards. Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all applicable safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements when visiting operational sites.
Travel up to 20% may be required for customer training delivery, site visits, project meetings, instructor coordination, content development, and visits to Toshiba affiliates or supplier locations.
