Job summary

Midea America Corp. is seeking a Technical Training Specialist to design and deliver technical education programs across North America.

You will develop curricula for VRF, Light Commercial, and Heat Pump systems, align with NATE standards, and integrate digital learning into our dealer portal. You will coordinate regional trainers, manage schedules, deliver live classroom and field training, and provide hybrid technical support.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in HVAC technical training, curriculum development, or instructional design.
  • Strong knowledge of the NATE certification framework and North American HVAC installation/service standards.
  • Content creation skills for presentations, video tutorials, and online e-learning modules.
  • Professional fluency in English with strong public speaking and presentation skills.

  • Curriculum & Content Development: Build and maintain structured technical, product, and sales training programs across VRF/VRV, Light Commercial, and Heat Pump product lines.
  • NATE Accreditation & Compliance: Manage NATE course certification processes and audit training materials to align with installation standards.
  • Digital Learning & Dealer Portal Integration: Integrate interactive training modules, track completions, and publish digital content on the Dealer Portal.
  • Trainer Management & Resource Allocation: Coordinate regional trainers to optimize scheduling and delivery.
  • Field Instruction & Hybrid Technical Support: Deliver live classroom/field training and provide site-level guidance when needed.

Overview:

We are looking for a Technical Training Specialist to build and execute our technical education programs across North America. You will design comprehensive training curricula for our VRF, Light Commercial, and Heat Pump systems, oversee NATE certification compliance, and integrate digital learning systems into our dealer portal to elevate our channel network's technical capabilities.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum & Content Development: Build and maintain structured technical, product, and sales training programs across VRF/VRV, Light Commercial, and Heat Pump product lines.
  • NATE Accreditation & Compliance: Manage NATE course certification processes. Create, update, and audit training materials and presentation decks to ensure full alignment with North American installation standards.
  • Digital Learning & Dealer Portal Integration: Partner with global IT teams to integrate interactive training modules, track completion records, and publish digital content on the Dealer Portal.
  • Trainer Management & Resource Allocation: Coordinate regional trainers (covering both OEM and OBM channels) to optimize resource allocation, scheduling, and training delivery.
  • Field Instruction & Hybrid Technical Support: Serve as a hybrid instructor and regional technical advisor—delivering live classroom/field training and providing occasional site-level technical guidance.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in HVAC technical training, curriculum development, or instructional design.
  • Industry Standards: Strong knowledge of the NATE certification framework and North American HVAC installation/service standards.
  • Content Creation Skills: Demonstrated ability to design engaging training materials, including presentations, video tutorials, and online e-learning modules.
  • Communication: Professional fluency in English with strong public speaking and presentation skills.
