About ANA

Join a recognized industry leader - Alliance North America was proudly named a 2025 Top Workplace in the Manufacturing Industry, an honor based entirely on feedback from our own employees about our culture, values, and workplace experience.

Alliance North America was established in 2017 and is proud to be the sole North American supplier of AIRMAN Power Generators, AIRMAN Air Compressors, and ANA’s patented EBOSS® Hybrid Energy System and Smart load bank system. Our commitment to our customers is to make their world easier, by answering the phone, understanding their needs, and taking ownership to provide solutions. With a large parts inventory and more than 90% of all orders shipping within 24 hours, you never have to worry about spare parts. We help keep your fleet in top condition with our world‑class Support Department, who are always ready to help and be a resource by providing training on our equipment.

ANA is headquartered in Henderson, Nevada, with locations in Cypress, California and Spartanburg, South Carolina. ANA is growing and scaling, and we are seeking a Technical Training Engineer in an onsite position in Henderson, NV. As a Technical Trainer II, you will have the opportunity to build the training and operator‑certification programs that turn our engineering standards into a skilled, consistent production workforce, and help stand up training for new product lines as ANA continues to scale.

The position is fully onsite, and the work schedule is weekdays from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. This role reports to the Director of Technical Functions.

Responsibilities
  • Build the factory’s training program around the specific skills each production role requires, creating and updating curriculum as those needs evolve.
  • Develop and maintain station‑level work instructions, SOPs, and visual aids, translating engineering drawings, BOMs, routings, and PFMEAs into clear, teachable steps.
  • Deliver hands‑on training to assembly operators and technicians, including new‑hire onboarding, cross‑training, and requalification, on the production floor.
  • Support new product line launches (NPI): under engineering direction, help develop, pilot, and validate training for new products and workstations as they are introduced.
  • Build and maintain the operator skills matrix and certification system, qualifying operators to a defined standard and keeping accurate, audit‑ready training records.
  • Support operator hiring by identifying the skills and capability gaps for each role, helping define job requirements and screening criteria.
  • Apply lean and standardized‑work principles, including TWI Job Instruction methods, to keep training consistent, repeatable, and current as processes change.
  • Partner with engineering, production supervisors, quality, and safety to identify capability gaps and close them.
  • Track training effectiveness, including time‑to‑competency, rework, first‑pass yield, and cross‑training coverage, and recommend improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment (internships, co‑ops, or military technical or maintenance experience count).
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as manufacturing, mechanical, industrial engineering technology, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, BOMs, and routings, and to follow a process at the station level.
  • Strong communication skills and genuine comfort teaching and coaching on the production floor.
  • Highly organized and detail‑oriented, especially with documentation and training records.
  • Proficient with standard computer tools (Microsoft Office and work‑instruction or documentation systems).
  • Preferred: exposure to TWI Job Instruction, lean and 5S, or ISO 9001 quality systems.
  • Preferred: experience writing SOPs or visual work instructions.
  • Preferred: familiarity with electromechanical, generator, compressor, or power‑systems assembly.
