Job summary

Echodyne is hiring an Instructional Designer to build and maintain technical training for radar hardware and software. You will translate complex concepts into accessible, measurable learning experiences and develop courses, simulations, and labs for onboarding and ongoing customer education.

Collaborating with engineers, product managers, and support teams, you will establish templates and standards for scalable content and drive continuous improvement based on learner feedback and product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in instructional design or related field.
• 3+ years designing professional or technical training.
• Experience developing asynchronous e-learning and performance-support materials.
• Strong knowledge of adult-learning principles and training design approaches.
• Proficiency with e-learning tools like Articulate 360 or Captivate.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audience, needs, task, and performance analyses for radar hardware and software training.
• Develop role-based curricula and learning paths for customers, including onboarding and product releases.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear instruction and create asynchronous courses and simulations.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and SMEs to gather content and validate learning material.
• Design training connecting software workflows with hardware activities including installation and calibration.
• Write measurable learning objectives and align content and assessments accordingly.
• Manage content through review, publication, and version control across lifecycles.
• Evaluate learning effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and field-readiness indicators.
