The role requires at least 4 years of craft experience, a technical degree or journeyman certification, travel 25–35% annually, and strong communication and teamwork skills to support safe, efficient operations.

• Technical degree or applicable craft certification preferred.
• A minimum of 4 years craft experience.
• Journeyman certification preferred or demonstrated equivalent experience.
• Must be available to travel approximately 25%-35% per year.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; teamwork oriented.

Mansioni

• Oversee Austal USA testing and training of personnel to contract standards.
• Monitor testing of external applicants to applicable naval codes and specs.
• Oversee training of employees’ promotional testing and certification needs.
• Develop curricula, lesson plans and training materials.
• Track and report training metrics to management and partners.
• Maintain inventory of training supplies and ensure safety compliance.
• Complete documentation of testing and training activities and support continuous improvement.
