Austal USA is seeking an experienced Technical Training Specialist to oversee testing and training operations for shipyard personnel in Mobile, Alabama. You will ensure adherence to contract standards, monitor external applicant testing against naval codes, and manage promotional testing and certifications.

Responsibilities include curriculum development, lesson plan preparation, and maintaining training materials and inventories.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or craft certification preferred.
• Journeyman certification in applicable craft preferred.
• Experience with training and evaluation processes is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Oversee testing and training of personnel to contract standards.
• Monitor testing of external applicants to naval codes and specs.
• Oversee training for promotional testing and certification needs.
• Facilitate training platforms for entry-level employees.
• Track, analyze and report training metrics to management and partners.
• Prepare curriculum, lesson plans and supporting materials.
• Compute and submit testing and training results.
• Maintain inventory of training supplies and perform basic filing.
