ProSidian Seeks a Technical Training and Development Process Engineer for Program Support on a Exempt W2: No Overtime Pay Basis Contract Contingent, generally located across the CONUS – Washington D.C. and the Mid Atlantic Regions, supporting a Regional transit authority that manages rail, bus, and paratransit services across the DC metropolitan area.
We seek candidates with relevant Government And Public Services Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Government And Public Services Sector Clients such as WMATA. This is a Contract Contingent or Contract W‑2 (IRS‑1099) position; ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a Full‑Time W‑2 position.
JOB OVERVIEW
Provide services and support as a Technical Training and Development Process Engineer, focusing on Human Capital Solutions for clients such as Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). This role supports the Technical Training and Development Division (TTDV) Safety and Readiness Department, working on‑site at the client location. Tasks include Process Engineering Support & Optimization, transforming learning operations through data‑informed support, and precision‑driven workflow enhancement.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Support the Lead Process Engineer; collect and document system requirements; model processes; assist in digital transition; maintain accuracy and quality in execution.
- Conduct Detailed Process Analysis: map and assess current‑state workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for digitization and automation.
- Design Future‑State Digital Workflows: develop optimized, user‑centered digital processes using tools such as SharePoint, Power Automate, or ServiceNow.
- Support Change Management Activities: collaborate with the change management lead to support stakeholder engagement, contribute to training materials, and assist in user onboarding and adoption efforts.
- Collaborate with IT and Business Stakeholders: work closely with IT teams, business units, and end users to validate requirements, test solutions, and ensure smooth implementation of redesigned workflows.
- Ensure Quality, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement: validate that new workflows meet data governance, security, and accessibility standards, and contribute to post‑implementation reviews.
Desired Qualifications
- 3–5 years in process analysis, workflow documentation, or support engineering.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, business process management, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in process improvement and workflow automation.
- Familiarity with Lean Six‑Sigma or similar methodologies.
- Experience with digital tools and platforms (e.g., SharePoint, ServiceNow, Power Automate).
Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, business process management, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in process improvement and workflow automation.
- Familiarity with Lean Six‑Sigma or similar methodologies.
- Experience with digital tools and platforms (e.g., SharePoint, ServiceNow, Power Automate).

Ancillary Details Of The Roles
- Assists Lead Process Engineer with quality assurance and change implementation.
- All hardware required for the performance of the scope of work; and
- Proper licenses and license codes along with hardware keys for required software (namely Microsoft Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud, including Captivate).
- Consultant resources engaged during this project must have taken the relevant recommended training courses or have equivalent knowledge and experience.
- The ProSidian Learning Innovation Design Consultants agree to cooperate in good faith to complete the services and deliverables in a timely and professional manner.
- The ProSidian Learning Innovation Design Consulting Team will submit all required deliverables to The Client’s COTR/Project Manager for review and approval.
- Progress Reporting: minimum weekly check‑in meetings with the Client’s COTR/Project Manager; minimum bi‑weekly draft update emails; minimum monthly written status reports; final project close‑out documentation and handoff.
- The Client will provide existing policies and procedures, relevant documentation, access from IT, necessary training, and SMEs for scheduled workshops.
- Standard Skills: proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, leadership and interpersonal skills, time management and prioritization, adaptability, multi‑tasking, analytical and organizational skills, strong communication.

Adhere to Metro‑provided procedures, templates, Standards of Practice, and source materials.
