Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a hands-on Technical Training Specialist to support the Vehicle Structures group on a 12-month contract. You will deliver demonstrations of advanced manufacturing techniques, train teams on fastener selection, torque application, QA buy-off, and document training materials to standardize processes.

You’ll work across teams to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, applying your expert-level structural manufacturing skills and experience with aerospace sealants,

Qualifications

  • Expert-level proficiency in core structural manufacturing skills: drilling, trimming, fitting, clamping, mixing/apply aerospace sealants and lubricants.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of QA processes including deburring to specification and torque verification.
  • Experience operating specialized manufacturing equipment and precision measuring tools (90-degree motors, rivet guns, calipers, micrometers, depth gauges).
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities to demonstrate techniques safely and align with safety standards.

About the Role: This is a contract position for 12 months


  • Provide technical training support for the Vehicle Structures team, demonstrating expertise across all critical structural assembly and quality processes

  • Deliver hands‑on demonstrations of advanced manufacturing techniques including precision drilling, trimming, fitting, clamping, mixing, and sealant/lubricant application

  • Transfer knowledge and train team members on proper fastener selection, installation, torque application, and QA buy‑off procedures

  • Support the development and documentation of training materials for structural manufacturing processes


About You


  • Expert‑level proficiency in all core structural manufacturing skills: precision drilling, trimming, fitting, clamping, and proper mixing/application of aerospace sealants and lubricants

  • Comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance processes, including QA buy‑off procedures, deburring to specification, aerospace fastener types and installation, and torque application, verification, and documentation

  • Demonstrated skill in operating specialized manufacturing equipment and precision measuring tools (90‑degree motors, rivet guns, calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, feeler/hole gauges)

  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities with proven capability to clearly and safely demonstrate techniques and explain complex manufacturing processes aligned to safety protocols and quality standards


Nice to haves but not required


  • 8+ years of technical training experience (aerospace maintenance or manufacturing preferred)

  • Background in developing technical training materials, standard operating procedures, and/or process documentation

Hiring Range:


$89,000 - $133,000 USD
