Job summary

Ohio Cat is seeking an instructor to provide hands-on technical training for Caterpillar machines and systems to students in classroom and shop settings. You may also support machine systems across departments and travel to training centers as needed.

A willingness to learn new skills and technical information is required. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years in construction or power equipment service, plus experience in teaching or training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; technical education preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in construction or power equipment service.
• Teaching or instructor experience preferred.
• Instructor certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach technical material in classroom and shop environments.
• Provide occasional technical support for machine systems, electrical, hydraulics, and electronics to Product Support departments.
• Travel to Ohio CAT locations and training centers as needed.
• Develop presentations and laboratory exercises for training sessions.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
