Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. is hiring a Technical Trainer in Brooklyn Heights, OH to develop and deliver advanced automotive training for North America service teams. You will apply instructional design expertise to improve diagnostic accuracy, repair quality, and safety.

The role requires 3–5 years in automotive training, ASE A6 certification, LMS proficiency, and strong MS Office skills. Travel across the region to support field readiness and trainer certification programs is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in automotive technology or related field preferred.
ASE A6 certification required; Master certification preferred.
3–5 years in automotive training, curriculum development or advanced diagnostics.
Proficiency with LMS platforms and virtual training technologies.
Strong instructional design and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

Design and update instructor-led, blended, and eLearning courses on vehicle systems.
Develop technical manuals, job aids, visual guides, and assessments.
Incorporate adult learning principles and multimedia tools.
Ensure readiness of training environments, vehicles, and equipment for delivery.
Conduct classroom, virtual, and hands-on workshops for technicians.
Evaluate learner performance and provide constructive feedback.
Measure program effectiveness using assessments and operational data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content with product updates.
