Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Mentor, OH is seeking a Full Time Professional Trainer to own the regional training program for service technicians. You will develop and manage learning paths across hydraulics, electronics, batteries, engines, and safety, coaching hands-on in shops and at customer sites.

This role blends classroom delivery with field coaching, ensuring technicians progress on schedule. You will build content, assess skills, and partner with Service Managers to sustain high operational standards

Qualifications

• 5+ years as forklift technician including senior/lead diagnostic and repair work.
• Strong knowledge of forklift systems: IC engines, electric motors, batteries, hydraulics, brakes, steering and electronics.
• Teaching, mentoring or technician development experience required.
• Certified Forklift Technician preferred; Logisnext highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own technician development in the region and maintain a skills matrix by discipline.
• Build and maintain individual learning paths with target skills, courses, certifications, and sign-offs.
• Coaching technicians hands-on in the shop or on customer sites; collaborate with Service Managers.
• Report monthly on skill coverage, training delivered, certifications earned, and progress against plan.
