Job summary

Vertiv Co is looking for a knowledgeable Technical Trainer to deliver hands-on training across our manufacturing operations, driving safety, skill development, and readiness to meet production goals with excellence.

You will develop training materials, lead onboarding, assess competency, and collaborate with supervisors and subject matter experts to close skill gaps while maintaining records and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering technical or skills-based training in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for diverse learning styles.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety practices, and equipment operation.
• Ability to create clear, user-friendly training materials and instructional guides.
• Comfortable using technology, including LMS or training tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on technical training sessions on equipment operation, safety, quality, and standard work procedures.

• Evaluate learner performance through practical assessments and provide feedback.

Key Responsibilities

• Training Delivery: Facilitate hands‑on technical training sessions in areas such as equipment operation, safety, quality, and standard work procedures.
• Onboarding Support: Lead new hire orientation and initial skills training for manufacturing roles to ensure readiness for production.
• Curriculum Development: Create, revise, and maintain training materials, standard operating procedures, and visual aids to support learning objectives.
• Competency Assessment: Evaluate learner performance through practical assessments and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Collaboration: Partner with supervisors, team leads, and subject matter experts to identify skill gaps and implement targeted training.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate training records, track progress, and support audits or compliance reviews.
• Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback and monitor effectiveness of training programs; recommend improvements for greater impact.

Working Conditions
