• MFA in Technical Theater is required or equivalent professional experience.
• Professional experience as a technical director is preferred.
• Active engagement in the industry and a network of professional connections are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in the Drama Program as undergraduate faculty.
• Serve as technical director for Drama program productions.
• Supervise student workers during productions.
• Recruit students through outreach, visits, auditions, and conferences.
• Mentor students in artistic and professional development.
• Assist with production planning, curriculum development and assessment.
• Attend department, college, and university meetings.
• Coordinate with the Director and Artistic staff on production logistics.
