This role requires hands‑on experience with RF monitoring, signal analysis, surveillance detection, technical threat identification, and adherence to Department of Defense (DoD) and Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) policies.

Responsibilities

  • Apply SIGINT collection and analysis experience to identify, characterize, and assess signals of interest.
  • Support technical investigations involving RF, wireless, communications, and other signal transmission mediums.
  • Assist with TSCM investigations, including instrumented and physical searches across facilities, networks, and communications environments.
  • Conduct mobile device detection sweeps in accordance with PFPA requirements.
  • Provide recommendations for mitigating or neutralizing identified technical and RF threats.
  • Adhere to established TSCM protocols and standards to ensure comprehensive inspections.
  • Accurately document inspection activities, findings, anomalies, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare written reports in the PFPA-SSD format within five days of an investigation, including findings and actionable recommendations.
  • Provide clear and concise briefings on inspection results during operational meetings and staff updates.
  • Support SIGINT-informed analysis, targeting, and threat assessment activities when required.
  • Coordinate with operational, intelligence, security, and technical personnel to resolve identified anomalies.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD, IA-30, and PFPA policies governing the workplace and technical security environment.
  • Complete mandatory training within established timeframes.
  • Support PFPA by executing and coordinating operational and technical security matters.
