Job summary

Echelon Services, LLC seeks a Technical Security Counter Measure Technician to inspect government facilities for unauthorized networks, detect threats, and prepare PFPA-SSD style reports.

The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance and on-site work at the Pentagon or other DoD sites in the NCR. You will operate RF monitoring gear, document findings, brief senior leadership, and follow DoD, IA-30, PFPA procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of the Department of Defense TSCM Service School or Interagency Training Center Fundamentals Course.
• At least two (2) years of TSCM experience.
• Active TS/SCI is required.
• Ability to work onsite at the Pentagon or other DoD facilities within the National Capital Region (NCR).
• Valid driver's license without special restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of facilities to detect unauthorized surveillance threats.
• Adhere to TSCM protocols and standards for thorough inspections.
• Accurately document all inspection activities and findings.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of daily operations.
• Provide clear and concise briefings on inspection results during meetings.
• Prepare PFPA-SSD style reports within five days of investigation.
• Manage and operate advanced RF monitoring equipment.
• Analyze signal data and resolve anomalies; maintain signals database.
• Advise on neutralizing threat signals based on analysis.
• Conduct mobile device detection sweeps as mandated by PFPA.
• Assist in TSCM investigations, including searches of transmission mediums and networks.
• Ensure compliance with DoD, IA-30, and PFPA policies.
• Complete mandatory training within required timeframe.
• Support PFPA coordination/completion of business matters.
• Adhere to QA Surveillance Plan for performance standards.

Echelon is hiring for a Technical Security Counter Measure Technician to work on government installations scanning for unauthorized networks (Wi-FI and Bluetooth), ensuring national security.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of office spaces to detect and neutralize unauthorized surveillance threats.
• Adhere to established TSCM protocols and standards to ensure thorough inspections.
• Accurately document all inspection activities and findings.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of daily operations, ensuring clarity and completeness.
• Provide clear and concise briefings on inspection results during operational meetings and staff updates.
• Prepare written reports in the PFPA-SSD report format within five days of the investigation, detailing findings and recommendations.
• Manage and operate advanced radio frequency monitoring equipment.
• Analyze signal data, resolve detected anomalies, and manage a signals database for historical comparison of signal threats.
• Provide advice on neutralizing threat signals based on analysis.
• Conduct mobile device detection sweeps as mandated by PFPA.
• Assist in TSCM investigations, including instrumented and physical searches of all possible signal transmission mediums and communication network systems.
• Ensure compliance with DoD, IA-30, and PFPA policies governing the workplace.
• Complete mandatory training within the required timeframe.
• Support the PFPA by proactively executing coordination/completion of various business matters.
• Adhere to the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan to ensure performance standards are met.
• Provide briefings to senior DoD executives and policy decision-makers as required.
