We are seeking a skilled and motivated Support Technician for an entry-level position involving overnight support in our dynamic team. As a Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing excellent on-site assistance and support to our customers. You will play a critical role in troubleshooting and resolving basic issues related to the HeadSpin platform and infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our customers.

Working Hours:

This is a full-time position requiring overnight work 40 hours per week, from Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 p.m. - 4:00 a.m.

Contract Duration:

This would be a 3 to 6 month contract, starting ideally in the first week of April.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite support to help resolve customer and infrastructure issues.
  • Assist the Tier I technical support team proactively to resolve customer issues.
  • Manage work priorities from a ticketing system and ensure issues are resolved promptly.
  • Collaborate with internal support teams to troubleshoot issues.
  • Escalate complex technical problems to appropriate teams, maintaining ownership until resolution.
  • Support onsite tasks such as power cycling equipment, using hand tools, reporting emergencies, and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Participate in site and infrastructure improvements, including equipment migrations and modifications.
  • Handle shipping, receiving, inventory, and maintain cleanliness of data center facilities.
  • Document all work activities thoroughly.
  • Contribute to a knowledge base for common issues and resolutions.
  • Stay updated on product features and enhancements to provide accurate support.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience preferred, but open to training new graduates.
  • Experience in technical support, customer support, logistics, facilities management, or data centers is a plus but not required.
  • Comfort with mobile devices and operating systems (iOS, Android).
  • Familiarity with IT or computer systems, networking, command line tools, and SaaS/business tools.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and a passion for customer success.

Nice to Haves:

  • Basic networking knowledge.
  • Familiarity with command line tools like SSH, ping, and file management.
  • Basic understanding of Android and iOS device configuration and features.
