The Office of Innovation & Technology (OIT) is the central IT agency for the City of Philadelphia headed by the Chief Information Officer (CIO). OIT oversees all major information and communications technology initiatives for the City of Philadelphia - increasing the effectiveness of the information technology infrastructure, where the services provided are advanced, optimized, and responsive to the needs of the City of Philadelphia’s businesses, residents, and visitors. OIT responsibilities include: identifying the most effective approach for implementing new information technology directions throughout city government; improving the value of the city’s technology assets and the return on the city’s technology investments; ensuring data security continuity; planning for continuing operations in the event of disruption of information technology or communications services; and supporting accountable, efficient and effective government across every city department, board, commission and agency.v
The Technical Support Specialist plays a key role in supporting desktop, mobile, endpoint management, and automotive diagnostic technologies used by Department of Fleet Services (DFS) staff. The position provides first- and second-level technical support for hardware, software, connectivity, user access, and device-related issues. Responsibilities also include supporting Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), Group Policy, Microsoft 365, Windows devices, and specialized Fleet diagnostic technologies, while assisting with device deployments, basic scripting, technical documentation, IT projects, and implementation of reliable technology solutions.

Salary Range: $61,000-$71,000
Salary Range cannot exceed $71,000
Work Setting: in-person (onsite)
The successful applicant will be required to submit to a fingerprint background check per CJIS policy.
