Role Overview

As a Product Performance Insight Support Technology Engineer, you will be a pivotal force in revolutionizing our Road & Track Testing (RTT) and LAB tire testing reporting systems. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, from Java and Quarkus to DevOps tools, shaping the future of testing processes and integrating new tools and ideas.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to Product Performance Insight (PPI) users on PPI and Applied Physical Metrology (APM) tools, redirect support as needed.
• Serve as the PPI contact point for IT activities with external suppliers on product evaluation sites.
• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of PPI tire testing reporting systems.
• Oversee workflow systems for Product Evaluation, ensuring efficient sequencing from lab tests to result processing.
• Design scalable, compliant infrastructure for PPI systems across multiple sites and regions.
• Uphold quality and safety standards, promoting a safe working environment.
• Participate in Continual Improvement processes and initiatives.
• Coordinate and execute software development tasks related to PPI systems.
• Recommend technical improvements and develop roadmaps for products.
• Maintain documentation on IT work for audit compliance.
• Follow all Quality System and safety requirements and activities.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven software development experience.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Languages: Fluent English; proficiency in French and/or Chinese is a bonus.

Skills & Knowledge

• Solid grounding in software engineering, database management, and general IT tasks.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Java, Groovy, C#, VBA, AngularJS.
• Knowledge of Oracle, SQL, PostgreSQL, Git.
• Eagerness to experiment with new tools and technologies.
