Job summary

Qualifications

• BA or BS in Chemistry or Biological Sciences.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good technical writing skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions, maintains accurate records and notes, and carries out assignments in a thorough fashion while adhering to safe laboratory practices.
• Able to carry out experiments following established guidelines and summarize results accurately.
• Knowledge of a variety of lab equipment and their operation.
• Able to functionally direct junior research staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support within the Drugs of Abuse manufacturing facility.
• Conduct moderate-complexity experiments and participate in project work.
• Prepare reports and documentation for investigations and product improvements.
• Perform root cause analysis and write investigation reports.
• Maintain accurate records of laboratory activities and communicate progress to management.
