Job summary

The role involves performing technical support, verification/validation studies, data analysis, and documentation to drive product improvements and investigations.

You will work with cross-functional teams, prepare technical reports, and maintain quality records while following established procedures and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in Chemistry or Biological Sciences.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good technical writing skills.
• Able to carry out experiments following established guidelines and summarize results accurately.
• Knowledge of lab equipment and safe laboratory practices.
• Able to direct junior research staff when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Drugs of Abuse manufacturing within Abbott Toxicology.
• Conduct verification or validation studies for new or modified materials and generate reports.
• Perform data analysis and maintain records of laboratory activities.
• Prepare reports and present progress to management on a regular basis.
• Develop and document testing methods and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Assist in root cause investigations and write investigation reports.
• Support multi-tasking and prioritize responsibilities with attention to detail.
