RedBuilt is hiring a Technical Sales Support Specialist to partner with regional reps, Bid Desk, and Project Managers to support project execution and build long-term customer relationships. The role serves as a steppingstone to a Technical Sales Representative position.

Ideal candidates bring integrity, enthusiasm, and a passion for construction. You will help expand opportunities for RedBuilt and support projects through every stage of the construction cycle.

• Stay informed on industry trends and customer needs for sales support.
• Prepare sold projects for hand-off to the design team.

Summary:

We are currently hiring Technical Sales Support Specialists - an excellent opportunity for talented individuals eager to grow in the dynamic engineered wood products industry. In this role, you will partner with regional Technical Representatives, Bid Desk Associates, and Project Managers to support project execution and contribute to the development of long-term customer relationships. This role frequently serves as a steppingstone to a Technical Sales Representative position.

Our ideal candidate is driven by integrity, enthusiasm, and a passion for the construction industry. You will play a critical role in expanding opportunities for RedBuilt and supporting projects through every stage of the construction cycle.

Essential Functions:

• Support Technical Sales Reps, Bid Desk and Project Management groups.
• Generate project material take-offs and estimates.
• Assist structural engineering professionals and architectural firms with RedBuilt product specification.
• Problem-solve with both internal teams and design/construction communities.
• Exercise discretion in prioritizing tasks and resolving customer concerns.
• Prepare sold projects for hand-off to the RedBuilt design team.
• Maintain accurate and up to date records in CRM system.
• Review invitations to bid to qualify projects to pursue.
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance customer experience and internal workflows.
• Stay informed on industry trends and customer needs to support sales team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

Our Technical Sales Support Specialists are exceptional communicators who can clearly convey building concepts and technical ideas. They can manage multiple priorities, work independently and have a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (NetSuite, Dynamics, Power BI). They thrive on challenges and are dedicated to supporting both our customers and teammates. These individuals consistently leverage tools and technology to drive results, balancing self-motivation with strong team collaboration. Many come from educational backgrounds in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture. Interest in construction, manufacturing or engineered wood products is always a plus!

Pay:$65,000 to $90,000
