Job summary

Dell Technologies in Oklahoma City is seeking a Technical Support Engineer 1 (NACPS) to join the Product Services team. You will troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve enterprise issues, collaborating with senior advisors to help customers maximize IT investments and minimize costs.

Our Technical Support team is there for them whenever they need help – by phone or email, online and on social media. No matter how complex the challenge, we rise to it. We answer questions about the installation, operation, configuration, customization and use of Dell Technologies products. For critical matters, we use our systems to provide remote diagnostic technical support. If there’s an issue with a customer’s product, we’ll analyze it, identify the cause, recommend a solution and document the problem.

What you’ll achieve

As a Technical Support Engineer 1, you will work with highly skilled technical advisors to develop and deliver solutions that enable customers to maximize returns on IT investments, drive efficiencies and reduce costs.

You will:

• Identify, troubleshoot and recommend solutions to enterprise problems – applying diagnostic techniques as necessary and keeping the customer informed throughout
• Perform case management functions to keep cases up to date and accurate
• Identify, research and input unique or recurring customer problems
• Provide timely responses to customer escalations
• Own customer issue to resolution.

Essential Requirements

• Knowledge of server and storage hardware
• Knowledge of general networking (and current Server Operating systems (such as Windows, Linux or VMWare)

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The annual range for this position is $54,000 - $70,000.
