Qualifications

• 3+ years in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.

• 3+ years of experience troubleshooting equipment.
• Basic understanding of engineering ECRs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical liaison between customers, production, engineering, and quality teams to investigate and resolve product-related issues.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system-level issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Gather information from customers and internal stakeholders to diagnose problems and communicate resolution plans.
• Support investigation of equipment and vehicle system issues, including electrical controls and communication networks.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to develop, test, and implement solutions that improve performance and reliability.
• Document root cause findings, corrective actions, and process improvements per company standards.
• Analyze recurring issues to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain troubleshooting guides, work instructions, and technical documentation.
• Participate in product builds, testing activities, and customer support to ensure timely resolutions.
• Leverage understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and CANbus to support troubleshooting.

Job Description

We are seeking a technically curious and customer-oriented engineer to support product troubleshooting, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives. In this role, you will work closely with customers, production personnel, and engineering teams to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and system-level issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. The successful candidate will be comfortable working on the production floor, engaging directly with customers, and driving problems through resolution while supporting product quality and reliability.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.47 - $48.08/hr.
