Job summary

Atlas Copco Holding GmbH in Houston is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to deliver expert technical support for centrifugal compressors and rotating equipment, helping customers and field teams quickly resolve complex issues and maintain reliable equipment performance. You will report to the Field Service Manager.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and vendors to drive issue resolution, manage CRM tickets and warranty support, and identify opportunities

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in field service, technical support, or maintenance of centrifugal compressors or turbomachinery.
• Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical systems, controls, and electrical components.
• Excellent communication, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities to support customers during urgent situations.
• Hands-on experience with centrifugal compressors, turbomachinery, or large rotating equipment.
• Experience with SAP, CRM systems, and the oil & gas or process industries.

To succeed, you will need

• You have 10+ years of experience in field service, technical support, or maintenance of centrifugal compressors, rotating equipment, or turbomachinery or a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with relevant industry experience.
  
• Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical systems, controls, and electrical components.
  
• Excellent communication, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities with the ability to support customers during urgent situations.
  
• Hands-on experience with centrifugal compressors, turboexpanders, or other large rotating equipment.
  
• Experience with SAP, CRM systems, and the oil & gas or process industries.
