Job summary

Southwest Care Center is seeking an experienced Technical Support Analyst II to provide comprehensive hardware and software support across clinic locations in Santa Fe and Albuquerque, NM. The role requires diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining desktop computing environments in a healthcare setting.

This temporary position carries no benefits and requires residency in the local market with ability to travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is highly desired.
  • Healthcare environment experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform onsite analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of workstation problems for end users.
  • Deliver desktop service by installing, configuring, testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting end-user workstations and related software.
  • Collaborate with IT team to ensure efficient operation of the desktop computing environment.
  • Receive and respond to calls, tickets, and emails regarding desktop issues; handle move/add/change requests.
  • Maintain documentation of hardware installations, repairs, and inventory.

This is a temporary position with **NO** benefits that supports all SCC locations in Santa Fe and Albuquerque; therefore, candidate must reside in the local market area of Albuquerque or Santa Fe, New Mexico and able to travel between the two cities as needed.### ***Position Details:***## ## Under the supervision of the Director of IT, the Technical Support Analyst II is tasked with providing comprehensive support and maintenance for software, hardware, and peripherals within the organization's desktop computing environment. The responsibilities include installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC hardware and related equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance. Furthermore, this role involves troubleshooting technical issues promptly and accurately, whether in person, via telephone, or through email. Providing end-user assistance as needed is also a key aspect of this position.###### Position responsibilities include but not limited to:##* ## Perform onsite analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex workstation problems for end users.* ## Recommend and implement corrective solutions, including offsite repair for remote users as needed.* ## Deliver required desktop service levels by installing, configuring, testing, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting end-user workstations and related hardware and software.* ## Assess the need for and implement performance upgrades to computers, including the installation of CPUs, I/O, NIC cards, hard drives, RAM, and so on.* ## Collaborate with IT Team to ensure efficient operation of the company’s desktop computing environment.* ## Administer and resolve issues with associated end-user workstation networking software products, as required.* ## Receive and respond to incoming calls, tickets, and e-mails regarding desktop problems.* ## Respond to and perform move, add, and change requests as they are submitted.* ## Ensure that physical desktop connections (i.e. RJ-45 Ethernet jacks, RJ-11 telephone modem jacks, connectors between PCs and servers, etc.) are in proper working order.* ## Prepare tests and applications for monitoring desktop performance, followed by providing performance statistics and reports.* ## Assist in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring desktop operations.* ## Maintain an inventory of all monitors, keyboards, hard drives, modems, network cards, and other components and equipment.* ## Accurately document instances of desktop equipment or component failure, repair, installation, and removal.* ## Liaise with third-party support and PC equipment vendors, as necessary.* ## Participate in staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars as requested.* ## Other duties as assigned.### ***Candidate Highlights:**** ## Experience: Minimum (1) year of hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience, with working knowledge of electronic medical record systems and experience working in a healthcare environment highly desired.* ## Education: Degree in Information Systems or related field required or equivalent work experience.* ## License/Certification: Valid driver's license and A+, MCSE, MCSA and/or MCS Azure highly desired.* ## Transportation: Must have reliable personal transportation to travel between clinics and offices.* ## Smart phone: Must have personal SMART phone with adequate data plan.# *Employment Highlights:*##* ## Monday - Friday typical schedule.* ## Competitive hourly rate.* ## Paid time off for holidays.* ## Overtime eligibility.### ***Interested in this Position?
