Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated in Goleta, CA is seeking a Production Test Technician to set up, calibrate, test and troubleshoot dewars, components and assemblies. You will interpret blueprints, prepare technical reports and support test equipment setup to meet production needs.

The role requires hands-on electrical/mechanical understanding, ability to read procedures, and strong attention to quality. US citizenship or permanent residency is preferred for eligibility due to regulatory

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical concepts.

• ESD procedures.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• ISO 9001 experience – preferred.
• Must be able to use hands to move and assemble very small electronic parts and fastening devices.
• Must be able to communicate orally and in writing using the English language.
• Must be able to use a microscope for extended periods of time.
• Must be US Citizen or PERM Resident.

Responsibilities

• Maintains records on work performed, analyzes data collected and reports results (metrics).
• Removes, replaces and assembles parts and/or assemblies as required.
• Performs necessary touch up and cleaning of deliverable hardware.
• Assists Engineering in developing test procedures for new products.
• Monitors consumables required to support test activities.
• Maintains inventory of testing equipment on hand and advises on equipment required to meet production schedules including obsolete, repair or calibration status.

Job Summary:

Salary Range:

$50,600.00-$67,500.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
