The Technical Superintendent at INEOS Aromatics in South Carolina will lead operating teams to meet performance targets, oversee Optimization Engineers, Senior Process Engineers, and Laboratory staff, and coordinate daily plant operations with the Operations Manager.

The Position:
The Technical Superintendent will provide leadership, coaching, resources, boundary conditions and motivation to help operating teams successfully accomplish performance contract targets and objectives. Supervises Optimization Engineers, Senior Process Engineers, and Laboratory personnel. Works with the Operations Manager to oversee daily plant operations and reports to the Operations Manager.

Provides leadership and support to promote adherence to the 20 Principles for Managing Behavioral Safety and Process Safety and Life-Saving Rules. Leads by example through incident investigations, observations, and audits. Completes corrective actions arising from these activities.
