Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Technical Staff Engineer – Product Marketing in the United States to drive market adoption for the PIC64 64-bit multicore processors used in aerospace, defense, and industrial applications.

The role focuses on accelerat­ing design wins, strengthening ecosystem readiness, and engaging with sales, customers, and partners to translate market insights into actionable product roadmaps and messaging.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Experience with 64‑bit embedded compute platforms; Arm and/or RISC‑V experience strongly preferred.
• Strong customer‑facing experience with system architects and senior technical decision‑makers.
• Direct exposure to aerospace, defense, and industrial embedded markets.
• Familiarity with long product lifecycles, qualification expectations, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as a product and market expert for sales teams, ecosystem partners, and customer decision-makers in mission-critical embedded markets.
• Drive design-win engagement for strategic accounts in Aerospace, Defense, and Industrial markets.
• Build and sustain senior-level customer relationships across engineering, product management, procurement, and program leadership.
• Gather and synthesize customer requirements, market signals, and design-in feedback to shape product priorities.
• Support the PIC64 ecosystem growth across silicon, software, tools, OS, and third-party collaborators.
• Develop and maintain high-quality customer-facing collateral and sales enablement materials.
