Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. seeks a Technical Staff Engineer – Product Marketing to accelerate design wins and market adoption of PIC64 64-bit embedded platforms for Aerospace, Defense, and Industrial applications.

Based in Austin, TX or Chandler, AZ, you will work with sales, engineering and product teams to define positioning, develop collateral, and support go-to-market activities for mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related technical field.
• 2.5+ years in product management, technical marketing, or related roles with embedded MPUs/SoCs.
• Experience with 64-bit embedded compute platforms; Arm and/or RISC‑V preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as product and market expert for sales, ecosystem partners, and customers.
• Drive design-win engagement for strategic accounts in Aerospace, Defense, and Industrial markets.
• Build and sustain senior-level customer relationships across engineering, product management, procurement, and leadership.
• Gather market signals and design-in feedback to shape product and roadmap priorities.
• Support portfolio planning and market-facing collateral, including presentations and white papers.
• Contribute to product strategy, positioning, and roadmap for PIC64 platforms.
