Technical Specialist (Information Systems)

Ontario County is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full‑time Technical Specialist (Information Systems) position.

Minimum Qualifications

• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree, or higher, in computer information systems or related field; or
• Possession of an Associate's Degree in computer information systems or related field AND two (2) years of full‑time paid experience, or its part‑time equivalent, in computer operations, technical support or system development; or
• Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma AND four (4) years of experience as described above in (2) above; or
• An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined in (1), (2), and (3) above.

2026 Salary: $34.59/hr. with comprehensive benefits package including paid holidays, paid leave, 3% match to deferred compensation, full health and dental insurance, wellness program, EAP, professional development training, and NYS Retirement pension.
