Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Technical Specialist to lead the integration and commissioning of EPMS, BMS and SCADA systems across mission critical facilities. The role requires hands-on experience with automation hardware, networking, and control strategies, including PLCs and vendor platforms.

You will work on complex projects, contribute to system design, and perform startup and testing activities while ensuring safety and quality. Domestic travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires 6+ years of experience with installation, troubleshooting and/or testing of EPMS, BMS, Industrial instrumentation and/or SCADA systems.
• 6+ years of experience with a High School Diploma or 4+ years with an Associate's degree.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of complex BMS, EPMS and SCADA systems with advanced integrations.
• Perform basic TCP/IP configuration and configure communication devices.
• Configure Modbus gateway devices and troubleshoot communication links.
• Review vendor manuals and configure power meters, PDUs, ATS, generators, STS, UPS, and battery systems.
• Navigate EPMS/SCADA applications for monitoring, trending, and data retrieval.
• Support commissioning, testing, and startup activities and maintain tool logs.
