Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Technical Specialist to lead the development, installation, testing, startup and commissioning of EPMS, BMS and SCADA systems across multiple sites. You will configure devices, troubleshoot communications, and ensure secure, reliable operation of complex power and control networks.

The role requires hands-on engineering expertise, strong documentation, and willingness to travel regionally/nationally to customer sites for startups and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Requires 6+ years of experience with installation, troubleshooting and/or testing of EPMS/BMS/SCADA systems.
• 6+ years of experience with a High School Diploma or 4+ years with an Associate's
• Requires reliable attendance at customer sites as required by the project.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, testing, startup and commissioning of EPMS/BMS/SCADA systems.
• Configure TCP/IP and communications devices; troubleshoot link failures.
• Set up Modbus gateway devices and related protocols for monitoring.
• Configure vendor power meters, PDUs, ATS, generators, UPS and battery systems.
• Navigate EPMS/SCADA applications for monitoring and data retrieval; perform data trending.
• Support safe work environment and coordinate with customers during startups.
