Job summary

Florida Court Clerks and Comptrollers-Civitek is seeking a Technical Specialist in Tallahassee, FL to manage EMV card reader systems for the e-Commerce program. The role involves daily reader management, user access control, and collaboration with multiple teams.

Travel is required. The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred) with 1–3 years in a technical environment and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Strong critical thinking and analytical reasoning are required for issue resolution.
• Must be PCI compliant and able to learn new technical programs.

Responsibilities

• Daily management of EMV machines and their entry into the reader management system.
• Daily management of EMV users and roles as defined by the system.
• Interact with the Service Desk for problem solving or issue resolution.
• Coordinate with the e-commerce work group on changes or change management for readers.
• Inventory control management of the readers.
• Monitor machines, expenses and monthly billings with contracts/budget.
• Coordinate with accounting/banking to determine billing process.
• Maintain security and confidentiality of information and data.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.

Located in Tallahassee, Florida, the Florida Court Clerks & Comptrollers is a statewide, non-profit member association. The association is comprised of the Florida Clerks of the Circuit Court and Comptrollers. FACC Services Group, LLC, dba Civitek Solutions was established in 1991 to provide financial and technical services for the Clerks of Circuit Court and Comptrollers of the State of Florida. Civitek is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Florida Association of Court Clerks, Inc. (FCCC).

A Brief Overview :

This position will manage the EMV card reader machines for the e-Commerce program for Civitek. The position entails daily work in a card reader management system, interactions with the various Civitek departments and our customers, and interaction with partner companies. Travel is required for this position.

What will you do :

• Daily management of EMV machines and their entry into the reader management system.
• Daily management of EMV users and roles as defined by the system.
• Interaction with the Service Desk on an as requested basis for problem solving or issue resolution.
• Interaction with the e-commerce work group to determine appropriate changes or change management involving the readers.
• Inventory control management of the readers.
• Interaction with the contracts and budget section to monitor and account for machines, expenses and monthly billings.
• Interaction with accounting/banking to determine billing process.
• Maintain security and confidentiality of information and data.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree is required
• Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred
• 1-3 yearsworking in professional/technical environment using specialized software products is required
• Must be able to learn new technical programs and be comfortable with self-paced learning processes on web and video.
• Strong Customer Service skills required in providing exemplary customer service to our clients and internal customers.
• Adept at thinking critically and using analytical reasoning.
• Must be PCI compliant
