Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Technical Sourcing Manager for Storage and Components to lead commercial efforts for critical AI hardware components. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and optimize total cost of ownership while collaborating with engineering to align roadmaps and drive supply chain resilience.

You will develop sourcing strategies, manage complex RFQs/RFPs, and own master agreements to support AI datacenter deployments across our global infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven experience in data center, hyperscaler, cloud service provider, or AI system hardware supply chain and related industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a related technical field, or Business Administration. Equivalent high‑tech commodity management experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into tangible results and drive execution.
  • Exceptional negotiation, influencing, and consensus‑building skills.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with internal and external partners in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments.
  • Strong understanding of 'should cost' modeling and value analysis.
  • Proven experience partnering with C‑suite executives and key supplier stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and refine comprehensive sourcing strategies and roadmaps to drive continuous improvement across components and third‑party storage.
  • Maintain a pulse on emerging technologies and industry trends to conduct insightful competitive analyses.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with leadership at core suppliers, influencing their business models and technology roadmaps.
  • Lead complex supplier negotiations, manage RFQs/RFPs, and finalize business awards.
  • Own and implement Master Supply Agreements and statements of work (SOWs).
  • Drive commercial engagements for prototype sourcing and development, supporting seamless transitions from new product introduction to mass production ensuring continuity of supply.
  • Propose and implement innovative supply chain enhancements to drive efficiency and cost savings.

About The Role

As a Technical Sourcing Manager, Storage and Components, you will be the commercial lead for critical components for AI hardware systems and products powering our cutting‑edge data center deployments. You will spearhead strategic sourcing initiatives, build robust supplier relationships, and ensure supply chain resilience by developing diverse sourcing options. Your expertise will be vital in navigating the hardware landscape, leading complex negotiations, and collaborating with engineering teams to shape business and technology roadmaps. Leveraging your deep industry knowledge and strategic supplier connections, you will optimize the total cost of ownership for our rapidly expanding global infrastructure.

What We Offer

The base salary range for this role is $177,000 to $237,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).
