Job summary

Plaid is hiring a Technical Sourcer to build pipelines for our Engineering and Data Science teams. You will own top-of-funnel strategy, run market research, and craft outreach that resonates with candidates.

You will work closely with recruiters to calibrate roles and ensure diverse, high-quality candidate flow. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in technical sourcing, strong boolean/x-ray skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple searches with precise data hygiene.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical sourcing experience in-house or similar setting.
• Proficient in boolean and x-ray searches across diverse sources.
• Strong ability to operate at high volume with precision.
• Fluent written and verbal communication tailored to engineers and managers.
• Data-driven, with ability to track funnel metrics and explain results.
• Empathetic, collaborative partner to recruiters and hiring managers.

Responsibilities

• Own top-of-funnel strategy and execution for technical roles.
• Run talent research including market maps and org mapping.
• Write outreach that is personal, relevant, and effective.
• Manage multiple searches with disciplined follow-up and clean data.
• Turn research into intelligence to shape role scope and search.
• Build diverse pipelines by design.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to calibrate roles.
• Track funnel metrics and report progress to stakeholders.
• Represent Plaid authentically to candidates.
