Alembic, Inc. is seeking a technically adept Sourcer to own top‑of‑funnel for engineering and science searches, mapping markets across labs and HPC groups, developing channels, and delivering personalized outreach that converts into screens and hires.

You will build enduring talent pools and playbooks for ongoing searches, with a focus on AI‑native tooling and data‑driven improvements. You will operate in a fast‑moving, Series B backed environment, shaping the talent function and collaborating

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical sourcing on genuinely hard searches — niche engineering, research, or infrastructure profiles.
• Research craft beyond LinkedIn: GitHub, papers, patents, conference talks, communities.
• Outreach writing that demonstrably converts — you can show us the messages and the numbers.
• A data‑driven practice: you optimize your own funnel by root cause and can walk us through a time you diagnosed and fixed one.
• You prioritize your own workload without supervision.
• An AI‑native sourcing stack: you experiment with semantic search, enrichment, and automation tools.
• Curiosity and willfulness, in equal measure.

Responsibilities

• Build and qualify pipelines for our hardest technical searches, ensuring a healthy top‑of‑funnel of closable candidates.
• Own top‑of‑funnel for engineering and science searches end to end — market mapping, channel development, outreach, and first qualification.
• Develop and maintain talent pools, nurture sequences, and clean tracking across channels.
• Create infrastructure that outlasts individual searches.
