Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced engineering leader to translate platform architecture and requirements into executable delivery plans across internal and partner teams.

You will lead end-to-end delivery spanning Front-end applications, Backend services and APIs, Data platforms and AI/ML components, ensuring scalable, secure solutions that meet regulatory and resilience standards while coaching diverse engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in software engineering, data platforms, or AI/ML-enabled systems.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams delivering enterprise-scale, integrated technology solutions.
• Strong foundation across application development, data analytics, and AI/ML-enabled systems.
• Experience integrating complex systems across APIs, data layers, and partner ecosystems.
• Familiarity with modern cloud platforms and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience in financial services or other regulated environments.
• Strong people leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain alignment with requirements and architecture while ensuring practical execution
• Lead and develop multidisciplinary engineering teams across Applied AI / ML, Data engineering, Application development
• Provide day-to-day direction, prioritization, and coaching
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for Scalability and performance, Security and resilience, Regulatory and compliance requirements, and Operational supportability
• Define and manage delivery processes, including Sprint planning and execution cadence, Cross-team coordination mechanism
