Description
This Global Role will focus on delivering and maintaining the Sales Demo Environments to both internal and channel Pre-Sales resources. They will also be responsible for front line support to these resources for both technical and non-technical topics including, but not limited to server maintenance and performance, application solutions and ISV (Independent Software Vendors / Partner Solutions) integrations and troubleshooting. This resource will also support Sales and Pre-Sales through the creation of documentation, training guides and FAQs for new functionality. Finally, a deep understanding of the underlying architecture, toolset and technical solutions to assist in sales demonstrations for these topics.
Key Responsibilities
Upgrade, maintain and optimize Sales Demo Image
- Applying upgrades, updates, ISV (Independent Software Vendors / Partner Solutions) and Integrations, and hot fixes.
Testing Sales Demo Image
- Ensuring upgrades, updates and hot fixes are working as intended as is the rest of the demo environment.
Demo Image Handover
- Working with internal and channel pre-sales resources to ensure they understand the demo image, changes, additions and optimization recommendations.
Demo Image Support and Troubleshooting
- Frontline support for questions, challenges and issues arising from Pre-Sales resources.
- Technical – performance, errors, security and access
- Application Solutions – integrations, demo data and workflows
Technical Product Architecture and Solution Demonstrations
- Understand, articulate and demonstrate underlying architecture and design to prospects and customers
- Understand, articulate and demonstrate technical solutions such as custom form building, workflow design and creation, report writing and other technical solutions
Technical Demonstration Solutions Support
- Assist the Pre-Sales Teams in using the SYSPRO Solution Toolsets to create Proof of Concepts for sales demonstrations
Technical and Non-Technical Documentation and Training for new solutions
- Assist with creation of new solution guides for Sales and Pre-Sales Enablement
- Creation and Testing of demo data and workflows applicable to new functionality
Understand thoroughly the software and value chain - including design, process and implementation
Documenting solutions in precise detail, while also being able to summarize it in a brief presentation.
Responsible for being a brand and product ambassador in your area of specialization and focus
Build rapport with clients, from C-level executives and managers to the support staff, all of whom will often need to buy in to your recommendations before these recommendations can be implemented
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Requires a Degree or Diploma in a business-related course/program
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the ERP industry with strong background in providing business solutions
- Technical Demonstration and Documentation Experience
- Certified SYSPRO Professional: Administration or Certified SYSPRO Consultant: Power Tailoring Developer (or equivalent).
- Experience and understanding of: Azure – 1 Tier, SQL Database, C#
- Cloud architecture and deployment models
- Experience with technical toolsets (no-code or low-code application builders) behind ERP or comparable solutions.
- Preferred – SYSPRO Power Tailoring knowledge which includes ability to customize menus, applications, languages using built in tools as well as basic C#.
- Preferred – SYSPRO Administration features including security, configuration, customization and troubleshooting.
- Server Management and Maintenance
- Experience in Technical Pre-Sales Role
- Understanding of Manufacturing and Distribution Solutions
- Writing Technical and Non-Technical training guides, work instructions and demo flows
