Brooksource is searching for a Technical Solutions Analyst to join our enterprise banking & financial services client's Fraud Data Platform team. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, serving as a liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure critical fraud data initiatives are successfully delivered.
The ideal candidate will function as a hybrid Business Systems Analyst and Business Architect, developing a deep understanding of the Fraud Data Platform and its supporting systems. This individual will become a subject matter expert on the application, translate business needs into technical requirements, and partner closely with developers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to drive solutions from concept through delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
- Develop expertise in the company's Fraud Data Platform and supporting systems.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Facilitate requirements discussions, backlog refinement sessions, and solution reviews.
- Partner with developers and architects to define and validate system solutions.
- Analyze current-state and future-state business processes and system capabilities.
- Create process flows, data mappings, system documentation, and user stories.
- Help identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and impacts across applications and integrations.
- Support testing efforts, including validation of requirements and user acceptance testing.
- Provide ongoing production support and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
- Act as a trusted advisor to both business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong experience working between business stakeholders and software engineering teams.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions and documentation.
- Experience gathering and documenting functional and technical requirements.
- Strong understanding of application architecture, system integrations, and data flows.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to develop subject matter expertise within complex applications and platforms.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience supporting fraud, risk, financial services, or data-driven applications.
- Knowledge of APIs, system integrations, and data architecture concepts.
- Experience creating process flows, data mappings, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Agile development practices.
- Exposure to cloud-based applications and modern data platforms.
- Banking or financial services experience.
