InnovMarine is seeking a Technical Solution Specialist for remote work to deliver tailored technical solutions, ensuring deployment, configuration, and optimization of software products. You will work with clients, internal teams, and partners to meet needs and support successful deployment.

Qualifications include a 3–5 year background in solution delivery or support, strong communication skills, and experience with deployment/integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marine Engineering, or related field; other relevant education considered.
• 3–5 years in technical solution delivery or support roles.
• Strong understanding of software deployment, configuration, and integration.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; able to explain tech to non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technical documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement technical solutions with clients and internal teams.
• Configure and deploy software products per client requirements.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices.
• Document solution architecture, configurations, and implementation processes.
• Provide technical support during and after implementation.
• Troubleshoot issues related to software functionality and integration.
• Maintain records of support activities and resolutions.
• Act as a technical advisor to clients and align solutions with goals.
• Gather client feedback and contribute to product improvements.

Job Summary: The Technical Solution Specialist is responsible for delivering tailored technical solutions that meet client needs and support the successful deployment and integration of InnovMarine’s products and services. This role involves working closely with clients, internal teams, and partners to ensure the effective implementation, configuration, and optimization of software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Implementation (40%)
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design and implement technical solutions and process improvements
  • Configure and deploy software products based on client requirements
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices
  • Document solution architecture, configurations, and implementation processes
• Technical Support & Troubleshooting (30%)
  • Provide technical support during and after implementation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software functionality, integration, and performance
  • Maintain detailed records of support activities and resolutions
• Client Engagement & Collaboration (20%)
  • Act as a technical advisor to clients, helping them understand and maximize solution value
  • Work closely with sales, product, and consulting teams to align solutions with client goals
  • Gather client feedback and contribute to product improvement initiatives
• Other Duties (10%)
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support organizational goals

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marine Engineering, or a related field; other relevant education will be considered
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in technical solution delivery or support roles
• Strong understanding of software deployment, configuration, and integration
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and technical documentation tools
• Experience working within matrix organization structures is an asset
• Maximo, Shipconstructor, PLM software experience (asset)
• Marine industry experience (asset)
• Bilingual (asset)
