Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or comparable qualification.
• Experience in development and architecture of embedded systems (BIOS, C/C++, RTOS, microcontrollers).
• Strong knowledge of low-level software development and interfaces (CAN, SPI, I2C, UART).
• Experience with international customers and cross-functional teams.
• Systems engineering and requirements engineering knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Convey and support Sales and Business Development for acquisition of new customer specific projects.
• Support RFQ and offer process; translate customer needs into budget-level offers and scalable concepts.
• Collaborate with R&D to align requirements with the roadmap; visualize feasibility and process flow.
• Support customer centers as a technical enabler in an agile environment.
• Lead discussions on technical feasibility, design direction, and solution readiness.
• Reuse and adapt existing solution concepts for new use cases; bring up customized solutions.

Job description

• Convey and support Sales and Business Development for acquisition of new customer specific projects
• Support RFQ and Offer Process
• Translate customer needs into time-efficient budget-level offers and scalable solution concepts
• Collaborate closely and directly with the R&D Team to align specific requirements with the existing standard technology platform roadmap
• Visualize and validate concepts, feasibility and process flow
• Support customer centers as a technical enabler and sparring partner in an agile way
• Reuse and modify existing solutions concepts, modules, for new use cases
• Guide the transformation of our industry from standard to application/market specific processes, in close contact with local teams
• Lead internal discussions around technical feasibility, design direction, and solution readiness
• Technical Design In Support and Bring Up Support for customized solution

Your profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in the development and architecture of embedded systems (e.g., BIOS, C/C++, RTOS, microcontrollers)
• Solid understanding of low-level software development and interfaces such as CAN, SPI, I²C, UART, etc.
• Experience working with international customers and cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of systems engineering, requirements engineering
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset combined with strong communication and teamwork skills

Salary Range: $90,000 to $120,000 On Target Earnings
