Armstrong World Industries in Hilliard, OH seeks a Technical Services Manager to lead quality strategy, process engineering, and R&D efforts at the plant. You will develop and mentor engineers, drive Lean and Six Sigma improvements, and partner with leadership to deliver measurable quality and cost benefits.
This role requires strong technical leadership, problem solving, and collaboration across functions to sustain continuous improvement and safe operations at the site.

The estimated base salary range for this role is $110,000 to $135,000 per year.

Under the guidance of the Plant Manager, theTechnical Services Manager responsible for the effective management and coordination of the plant chemistry, process engineering, and lab resources and plant quality assurance. This includes Process and Chemistry support including the application of good science, New Product Development, Lean Support, Quality Assurance, Six Sigma, Cost Reduction Planning and Business Process Management. It is accountable for providing the leadership to develop the managing systems for these areas and providing the organizational effectiveness to improve and sustain these systems. Leadership responsibilities include aligning the resources described above, with the plant's vision, mission, principles and values and for implementing the necessary systems to motivate and enable these resources to help achieve the vision.
