Job summary

Seven Executive Limited is seeking a Technical Service Manager to lead our clients' technical customer service, applications engineering, and internal sales operations teams.

This leadership role bridges our internal sales operations and external sales channel partners, providing critical technical oversight, engineering support, and team guidance for HVAC solutions.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• Strong background in commercial/residential HVAC Equipment is required.
• Experience leading technical support, applications engineering or customer service teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor technical support staff handling inquiries and applications.
• Provide high-level technical, application, and specification support to manufacturers' reps, engineers, contractors, and end-users.
• Oversee internal sales workflows, quotes, selection tools (CORES), orders, and Dynamics CRM processes.
• Oversee RMA, warranty resolution, and root-cause quality evaluation processes.
• Conduct technical sales training, product workshops, and trade show presentations.

Job description

We are looking for a Technical Service Manager to lead our clients technical customer service, applications engineering, and internal sales operations teams.

This leadership role bridges the gap between our internal sales operations and external sales channel partners, providing critical technical oversight, engineering support, and team guidance for HVAC solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor technical support staff handling residential and commercial customer inquiries, applications, and customer service.
• Sales Channel Support: Deliver high-level technical, application, and specification support to manufacturers' reps, engineers, contractors, and end-users.
• Sales Operations & CRM: Oversee day-to-day internal sales workflows, quote generation, selection tools (CORES), order accuracy, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM processes.
• After-Sales & Quality: Lead the Return Material Authorization (RMA), warranty resolution, and root-cause quality evaluation processes.
• Training & Enablement: Conduct technical sales training, product workshops, and trade show presentations for internal teams and external sales partners.

Qualifications

• Education: BS in Mechanical Engineering (or related technical field).
• Industry Experience: Strong background in commercial/residential HVAC Equipment (must have)
• Leadership Experience: Proven track record leading or directly managing technical support, applications engineering, or customer service teams.
• Systems Proficiency: Hands-on experience with ERP and CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics preferred) and selection software tools.
