Job summary

Fox Pest Control is hiring a Technical Services Manager to provide technical leadership across regional branches, develop training programs for technicians, and ensure service quality and regulatory compliance. The role is remote with regional travel and requires strong pest control expertise and leadership.

You will evaluate branch procedures, conduct audits, and partner with Sales/Marketing to support initiatives while traveling up to 50% to stay aligned with field operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Entomology or a related field.
• ACE, BCE, or RS credential preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of urban pest management experience.
• Experience serving diverse client industries (food, hospitality, healthcare, residential).
• Strong regulatory compliance, health and safety management, and QA record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, public speaking and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement strategies that support regional and corporate objectives with compliant practices.
• Evaluate branch service procedures and provide actionable feedback to managers.
• Ensure compliance with all pest control regulations and licensing requirements.
• Conduct routine branch audits covering safety, procedures, and waste handling.
• Train Service Managers to deliver onboarding and continuing education for technicians.
• Serve as the technical and operational resource for managers at multiple levels.
• Identify local pest pressures and implement targeted treatments and protocols.
• Field-test and evaluate new pest control products and technologies.
• Analyze customer satisfaction data to drive service improvements.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on regional and national initiatives; contribute technical content.
• Travel up to 50% of the time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Technical Services Manager

In this remote role with regional travel, based within 60 miles of one of our branches, you’ll provide technical and operational expertise to branch offices so that every residential and commercial customer receives effective, high-quality service. Responsibilities

• Design and implement strategies that support regional and corporate objectives, monitoring practices to ensure consistency and compliance
• Evaluate branch service procedures and ensure service delivery, providing actionable feedback to Service, Branch, and Region Managers
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pest control regulations, including tracking and maintaining branch and personnel licensing
• Conduct routine branch audits covering environmental stewardship, safety requirements, service procedures, and storage and disposal guidelines
• Train Service Managers to deliver onboarding and continuing education for technicians, with appropriate tracking measures in place
• Serve as the technical and operational resource for General, Branch, Region, and Service Managers
• Identify local pest pressures and implement targeted treatment solutions, including approved chemical lists and treatment protocols for each branch
• Field-test and evaluate new pest control products and technologies
• Analyze customer satisfaction data to develop effective service action plans
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to support local, regional, and national initiatives, contributing technical expertise, articles, and interviews for industry events and public outreach
• Travel up to 50%
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For

• Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE), Board Certified Entomologist (BCE), or Registered Sanitarian (RS) credential
• Minimum of 3 years of urban pest management experience
• Experience serving diverse client industries, such as food manufacturing, hospitality, healthcare, and residential
• Strong record of regulatory compliance, health and safety management, and quality assurance
• Excellent verbal and written communication, public speaking, and customer service skills
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and attention to detail
