Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Technical Services Manager to lead our Technical Services team at the Cortez operation. You will direct mine planning, engineering, geology, survey, geotechnical engineering, ore control, and related technical functions to develop and execute multi-year plans that drive safe production and optimized resource use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or related technical discipline.
• 8–10 years of experience in mine planning, engineering, geology, technical services, or related mining disciplines.
• 3–5 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with mine planning software such as Deswik, Vulcan, Datamine, MineSight, or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning for departmental sustainability and operational success.
• Lead the development and execution of short, medium, and long-term mine plans and production schedules.
• Coordinate forecasting cycles with regional and corporate guidelines while meeting site needs.
• Establish production targets and monitor performance against plan; analyze reconciliation results and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate mine planning, geology, survey, geotechnical, ore control, and engineering activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
