Job summary

HX5 Sierra, LLC. is seeking a Technical Services Supervisor at NASA Glenn, Sandusky. The role provides supervisory and technical guidance to staff engaged in specialized technical support for testing and development activities.

The candidate will lead technicians and skilled trade personnel, enforce safety and quality practices, and ensure on-time, accurate deliverables within contract budgets. Internal applicants only.

Qualifications

• Minimum of twelve total years of education/experience in technical or skilled trades.
• Experience leading technicians in aerospace test/R&D facilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all craft and technician work for testing and services follows instructions, safety rules, QA, and budgets/schedules.
• Act as focal point for group work requests; plan, organize, and coordinate activities of personnel.
• Control and review work for timeliness and accuracy.
• Lead and direct technicians with technical guidance and project support.
• Assist employees with problem resolution and performance feedback.
• Conduct performance evaluations and interpret company policies as needed.
• Enforce safety regulations and PPE requirements.
• Ensure data deliverables and reports are accurate and timely.
