  • Demonstrate competency over the course of the program to qualify for on-going employment.
  • Ability to communicate and work well in a team environment.
  • Capable of following directions and utilizing time wisely for maximum efficiency.
  • Must be safety conscious at all times.

Responsibilities

  • The apprentice will train under journeyman level technicians for a total of 8,000 on-the-job training hours to complete the state of Ohio and NASA's Apprenticeship program.
  • Apprentices will be taught specialized technical skills to perform fabrication and assembly of intricate instrumentation hardware used in research test facilities at the NASA Glenn Research Center.
